On May 3, four up and coming EDFL Junior Umpires were lucky enough to be invited to take part in the AFL's Umpiring Is Everyone's Business initiative of leading the AFL Umpires onto the ground prior to a match. The EDFL umpires lead the umpires out in the Collingwood and St. Kilda game at Etihad Stadium
